Join us for the Second Annual Big Ten Bar Crawl. Last year, around 160 alumni of various schools spend the entire day visiting 11 bars in honor of the Big Ten. You answered the call, and represented nearly a quarter of the party. Let's do it again and show the rest of the Big Ten how to drink beer responsibly. Save Saturday, January 24, 2009 on your calendars for what should be a really fun time. (We're still planning this year's route, so keep your eyes out for updates.)

Mentoring relationships are crucial to career success. Join fellow alumni at this Career Enhancement Event where Dr. Stacy Blake-Beard’s interactive presentation will stimulate participants to establish strategic mentoring relationships.

Dr. Blake-Beard received her M.A. and Ph.D. in Organizational Psychology from the University of Michigan. Her thesis, “The Changing Face of Mentoring in Diverse Organizations” launched what’s been nearly ten years of research on the topic of mentoring. With over a dozen publications and more than 50 presentations on the topic, she has firmly established herself as an expert on mentoring and is quoted often on the topic by local and national media outlets.
