Think you know how to network? Challenges in a down economy are discussed and tips for success are revealed by Ross' own Al Cotrone, Director of Career Services

Networking through a difficult economy has important differences in comparison to conducting a job search when times are good. Please join Al Cotrone, Director of Career Services and Student Affairs at the Stephen M. Ross School of Business, for a discussion on looking for a job when jobs are scarce. Al will share resources available to alumni of the Ross School and discuss tips and suggestions for successfully navigating the 2009 job market.

Transportation/Parking: The location of the hotel is on the waterfront between the South Station (Red Line) and the Aquarium (Blue Line) MBTA stops. It is just a five minute walk from our old location and only three minutes from South Station. Parking at the hotel is available. Down parking options at Post Office Square is available for $9 after 5 pm, and many on-street parking spaces may be available at that hour.

We will have casual cocktails and networking and then will launch into a presentation from a Professor Andrew Lawlor, Lecturer of Entrepreneurship and Strategy and Director, Global MBA Projects from the Ross School of Business & The William Davidson Institute. Professor Lawlor's research focuses on entrepreneurship, new business development, corporate venturing, strategic planning, market development, and project and business planning.
