Michigan Alumni Wine Tasting! *Tuesday, June 23, 2009 at 7pm*

Due to the overwhelming response for the first wine tasting we have organized a second tasting to accommodate more people! The tasting will be taking place on Tuesday, June 23rd from 7-9pm Les Zygomates Wine Bar & Bistro, which is located at:

This is right around the corner from the South Station T stop on the Red Line, so it is easily accessible by public transit.

For the tastings, each guest will receive 4 tastes of the focus wines. The Sommelier will guide everyone on How to Taste and will then begin a conversation based on the topic wine for the evening, which will be themed 'Beyond Riojas: an Introduction to Spanish Reds'. Afterwards, the Chef will come out and perform a cooking demo, followed by a presentation of 4 quick appetizers. Each of the food items is paired a wine.

All wine and food pairings are included in the cost of the evening. Alumni may bring multiple guests, and spots will be reserved on first-come basis. The price for members is $20 and $25 for non-members. WE HAVE CURRENTLY HIT THE MAXIMUM AMOUNT OF PEOPLE, so if you wish to get on the waitlist please email me (andrea.dhartegmail.com).
