Welcome to the University of Michigan Club of Greater Boston!

You are among friends. There are over 10,000 Michigan alumni in the Greater Boston area. It's time for you to join us. In the past year, the Alumni Association has brought you opportunities to watch the Wolverines tackle Big Ten foes at game-watching locations, to play alumni co-ed softball and basketball, and to attend a number of special events ranging from cooking classes to the alumni harbor cruise to networking events (and many more!). We will continue to offer programs that bring you back to Ann Arbor, without ever having to leave the Hub.

The University of Michigan Club of Greater Boston also gives back to the school you love by helping to recruit students from local high schools and raising scholarship funds to help them become tomorrow's Leaders and Best. In the coming year, I look forward to our new initiative to raise significant funds to support a need-based scholarship for local students attending the University. Due to declining levels of financial support from the state, such supplemental funds are vital if the University of Michigan is to continue to attract the best and brightest students. I hope that you will join us in making the Michigan Difference.

This year will also bring new programs tailored to those of you who have moved on beyond your days on the rollicking crew and are starting new families. We listened to your comments and we're developing events designed for families, such as apple-picking trips, visits to the children's and science museums, and social events geared towards family activities.
